We have taken the best functioning Carburetors in the world and made it fit into a package that’s easy to install and the best part — inexpensive. 42mm, 45mm and 48mm Carb kits share the same air filter platform and the all new Air filter design is available in both EPA/CARB compliant versions, as well as a high performance Air Box type that will compliment the looks and performance of any motorcycle. Our mounting system is a long overdue simple system for the Mikuni Carb, making tuning and servicing very easy. All of Ultima’s new Carb Kits are offered in standard popular configurations or they can be ordered “built to suit” to fit various engine configurations that we have manifolds available for. The Chart on the following pages show some known configurations our current manifold selection will fit. All HSR Mikuni Carburetors utilize stock H-D throttle cables. 84’-89’models will need new cables from a similar 90’-95’ model.

ULTIMA HSR 42MM

The Ultima 42 mm Carb Kits will enhance the performance of any Twin Cam or Evolution engine in stock or slightly modified versions and are recommended for engines up to 100 CI. These Carburetors will deliver superior throttle response, fuel economy, starting characteristics and horsepower when compared to currently marketed Butterfly Type Carburetors with bores of 1-7/8.
Ultima 42mm Kits come with a 1.625 I.D manifold to match OEM style EVO and Twin Cam Cylinder Heads, but have a larger 1.880 O.D. This will allow cylinders, that have been ported, plenty of material for port matching and they still can utilize the stock style OEM manifold clamp and O-ring. Twin Cam kits come with Map Sensor machining finish. Mikuni Carburetors have a fitting in the back of the Carburetor for vacuum operated petcocks or VOES switches. Kits for Evolution engines have Map sensor machining available but not finish drilled into the manifold. The difference in the EVO kits is only the Backing Plate mounting hardware. 93/99 Kits breath through the heads into the air filter assembly and 84/92 do not include this feature.

ULTIMA HSR 45MM

The Ultima 45 mm Carb Kits will enhance the performance of any Twin Cam or Evolution engine and are recommended for engines over 100 CI. These Carburetors will deliver superior throttle response, fuel economy, starting characteristics and horsepower when compared to currently marketed Butterfly Type Carburetors with bores of 2-1/6”. This Carburetor is the best choice for most Crate Motors and small strokers for all around performance and rideability.
Ultima 45mm Kits Come with a 1.780 I.D manifolds and can be used with stock 1.625 I.D port cylinder heads with out sacrificing any power. Twin Cam kits come with Map Sensor machining finished. Mikuni Carburetors have a fitting in the back of the Carburetor for vacuum operated petcocks or VOES switches. Kits for Evolution engines have Map sensor machining available but not finish drilled into the manifold. ULTIMA HSR 48MM

The 48 mm Mikuni is the current King of Performance Carb’s for all out street performance an any engine with head work or larger cubic inch engines when maximum potential is desired. These Carbs work extremely well on all engine configurations including, Ultima,H-D., S&S, Jims and other Engines using round ports as well as Stroker Kits 103 CI and above. Ultima 48mm Kits Come with a 1.780 I.D manifolds and can be used with stock 1.625 I.D port cylinder heads and any 1.780 Port heads as well.
